Today, Year 4 Joy students explored the states of matter through a hands-on Science activity. Using juice, ice, salt, and ziplock bags, they observed how a liquid changes when exposed to cold temperatures. As the juice cooled, part of it froze into a solid while some remained liquid, forming a slushie. Year 5 Kindness took to the Science laboratory to investigate melting and boiling points. With curiosity and enthusiasm, students conducted hands-on experiments, carefully observing how substances changed as temperatures increased. Baking Cupcakes With Maths โ A Sweet Learning Experience ๐ Today, our Year 3 students enjoyed an exciting hands-on session: baking cupcakes using Maths skills. As part of their learning on mass and capacity, students measured ingredients such as sugar, flour, oil, and water using cups, measuring spoons, and scales. They worked together as little chefs, reading measurements carefully and applying what they learned in class.
