The Secondary Cambridge International Curriculum

Students in Years 7 to 9 follow the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum, which is based on international best practices for schools. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy while engaging students in an active learning journey that nurtures creativity. Students are also encouraged to explore specialist subjects based on their strengths, interests, and abilities as they begin to shape their college and career aspirations.

In Years 10 and 11, students prepare for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams. Recognised as the world’s most popular international qualification, the IGCSE lays the groundwork for the Cambridge International A-Levels. With the IGCSE curriculum, students can select subjects that align with their plans for higher education or future careers.

Subjects offered for the IGCSE include: English, English Literature, Mandarin, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Information and Communication Technology, Geography, History, Bahasa Melayu, and Music.

In Years 12 and 13, students work toward the Cambridge International A-Levels, which are awarded under the General Certificate of Education in the United Kingdom. Students choose specialist subjects based on the university degrees they wish to pursue. This internationally recognised qualification enables students to apply to universities worldwide, with offers typically based on their A-Level exam results.

Holistically, we aim to nurture students who are creative, critical, and innovative thinkers. To support this, we provide a well-rounded education from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to the end of secondary school, with a focus on health, physical education, and a rich array of extracurricular activities.
