We encourage a hands-on approach, using a variety of tools and strategies to facilitate seamless interaction between parents and teachers. Parents have many opportunities to meet with our staff, receive regular email updates on their child's achievements, and make use of digital platforms to stay connected.

We also conduct satisfaction surveys for students, parents, and staff, giving everyone in our community a chance to provide feedback. This openness allows us to make meaningful improvements and maintain a strong school-home connection.

These discussions also allow parents to share any concerns—such as behavioural challenges or learning difficulties—and collaborate with teachers on effective strategies. School Events & Wellbeing Programmes: Building Community

Parental engagement at Invictus also extends beyond the classroom through a variety of school events and wellbeing programmes. These events provide parents with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the school culture and gain deeper insight into our teaching philosophy and learning environment.

One of our most popular initiatives is our monthly Coffee Morning, where parents connect with teachers and gain firsthand experience of the Invictus community. Each session covers a new and relevant topic—ranging from understanding our Global Perspectives curriculum to navigating teenage development. These interactive sessions foster stronger parent-teacher bonds and empower parents with knowledge.

We also host parent workshops, introduce teaching techniques, and involve parents through our Parent Association, a committee that organises activities celebrating our multicultural and inclusive school community.

Participation in these events strengthens the relationship between school and home, allowing parents to stay closely connected to their child’s growth and development.

Online Engagement Through Our Parents App

In today’s digital age, technology plays a significant role in enhancing school-home communication. At Invictus Malaysia, we use the Parents App to provide real-time updates on your child’s progress and ensure you’re always in the loop.

The app offers access to academic resources, detailed performance reports, and direct communication with teachers and staff through a built-in messaging feature. This convenience encourages collaborative engagement and makes it easy for parents to raise questions or concerns as they arise.

Our Parent Support Group (PSG) is trained to use the app effectively, empowering them to better support their children. A key feature of the platform is the upcoming Cashless System, launching on April 1st, which will allow parents to view cafeteria options and make payments remotely.
