Welcome to Invictus International School, Spring Hills Campus.
A primary challenge in education is preparing students for the workforce and society they will enter; and for our primary school students, this can be a decade or more from now. This task is simple if the school environment mirrors the future landscape, but daunting if they diverge. In our current AI-driven future, that divergence is guaranteed.
It is therefore not good enough for staff and students to work and merely apply all that they know. An education at Invictus Spring Hills will pivot staff and students learning towards doing work by recreating knowledge from all that they know, transforming both staff and students from consumers of knowledge into producers of insights. An education at Invictus Spring Hills is an education that is both current and relevant; an education built for tomorrow.
We have and will continue to initiate new ideas to improve learning and teaching and enhance learning among our students. Whilst pursuing academic excellence and making learning engaging and enjoyable, we will continue to provide a sound and effective character education and pastoral care programme. These will always remain our top priorities because in an increasingly complex and uncertain world, time-honoured human values are increasingly questioned. It becomes absolutely vital that we impart in our young and impressionable a strong sense of what is right, and what is wrong, if we want our students to not just be human but be humane.
And this role and responsibility falls on each and every one of us, including our parents and community. There are many things to do and many more things that still remain to be done as we forge ahead in nurturing future generations of citizens, but the school, parents and community will accomplish as a team much more than what the school might accomplish alone.
Finally, while we articulate our new hopes moving forward; we will always live in the present to enjoy the moments being with our students and looking out for their well-being and growing with them. This is, and will always be, the very heart of Invictus @ Spring Hills.

Mr. Albert Alcantara
Principal
It is an absolute privilege to welcome you to our Invictus Spring Hills and our wider community.
Our philosophy here at ISH is simple, schools should help young people lead happy and successful lives. Academic achievement is important, but education should also help students discover who they are, what inspires them, and how they can contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
For me, this begins with community! A school shouldn't simply be a collection of classrooms - it should be the beating heart of a community where students, families, and staff feel connected, valued, and supported. When young people feel a true sense of belonging, they develop the confidence to take risks, the resilience to overcome challenges, and the character to grow into compassionate and capable individuals.
Within that supportive environment, every student should have the opportunity to explore broadly and then develop deeply. I am passionate about giving students opportunities to discover their interests and passions - whether in academics, the arts, sport, leadership, technology, or service - and then nurturing those passions so that students can develop genuine expertise, purpose, and self-belief. Education is not about creating identical outcomes; it is about helping every child find their own path and thrive on it.
As a truly inclusive international school, we are also preparing students for a global future. Our diversity is one of our greatest strengths, bringing together different cultures, perspectives, and experiences that enrich our community every day. In an increasingly interconnected world, students need more than qualifications alone; they need empathy, adaptability, open-mindedness, and the ability to work alongside people from all backgrounds and cultures.
Strong communities are built on strong relationships, and I firmly believe that open communication between school and home is essential. My door is always open, and I warmly welcome feedback, conversation, and partnership with students and families alike. By working together, we can create an environment where every young person feels supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
I look forward to meeting you and to being part of each student’s journey as they grow, discover their passions, and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude that will ensure they lead happy and successful lives.

Mr. Alasdair Mac Arthur
Deputy Principal
A very warm welcome to our returning families and to those joining the Invictus Spring Hills community for the first time.
The primary years are a remarkable period of growth and discovery. As children progress through primary school, we want to see them develop their knowledge and understanding, but also we want to see development in their confidence, independence and ability to take responsibility for their learning. Our role as educators is to provide the knowledge, guidance and opportunities they need, while gradually giving them the independence to think, question, make decisions and take ownership of their learning.
We want our students to be curious about the world around them and confident enough to ask questions, challenge ideas and explore new possibilities. Learning should not simply be about finding the right answer; it should encourage children to think deeply, solve problems, learn from mistakes and understand that challenges are an important part of growth. We should never underestimate what children are capable of when they are trusted, challenged and supported.
Alongside academic achievement, we place great importance on the character our students develop. At Invictus Spring Hills, this is reflected in our CARE values: Commitment, Aspiration, Resilience and Empathy. These are qualities that we want to see reflected in the everyday choices our students make, from committing themselves to their learning and aspiring to achieve their best, to showing resilience when faced with challenges and empathy towards those around them.
None of this can be achieved by the school alone. The strongest educational journeys are built through positive partnerships between students, teachers and families. We must communicate openly. We must share expectations. We must support one another.
I am incredibly excited about the year ahead and the opportunities it will bring. There will undoubtedly be challenges along the way, but there will also be countless moments of discovery, achievement, laughter and growth, and when our students look towards the summit of their educational journey with curiosity and courage, we can take pride in knowing that we have given them not only the tools to climb, but the confidence to believe they can reach the top.

Mr. Berry Squire
Assistant Principal (Upper Primary)
Welcome to Invictus International School, Spring Hills Campus.
It is a privilege to welcome both our returning families and those joining our community for the first time. As Assistant Principal, I believe that the primary years lay the foundations not only for academic success, but also for a lifelong love of learning.
Having taught in both the UK and international schools, I have seen that children thrive when they feel safe, valued, and genuinely excited about coming to school each day. Every child arrives with different experiences, strengths, interests and aspirations and it is our responsibility to ensure that every learner is given the opportunity to flourish.
I am passionate about high quality teaching and learning and believe that education should challenge children to think deeply, ask questions, solve problems and become increasingly independent. Academic progress is important, but so too is developing confidence, resilience, curiosity and the ability to work collaboratively with others. These are the skills that will prepare our children for an ever-changing world.
At Invictus Spring Hills, we are committed to creating a learning environment that is engaging, inclusive and supportive. We want children to feel confident enough to take risks, learn from mistakes, celebrate their achievements and develop the self belief needed to reach their full potential. Some of the most rewarding moments in education come when children realise how much they have grown and begin to recognise what they are capable of achieving.
Strong partnerships between home and school are at the heart of a successful education. I firmly believe that children achieve the very best outcomes when families and teachers work together. Open communication, mutual trust and shared expectations allow us to create a positive and nurturing environment in which every child can succeed.
As we begin another exciting school year, I look forward to working closely with our students, families and staff as we continue to strengthen our school community. Together, we will ensure that every child feels known, supported and inspired throughout their learning journey.
I look forward to meeting you and to sharing in the many memorable moments that this academic year will undoubtedly bring.
